This website is no major fan of the Sunrise TV show yet this Kathy Griffin has gone way overboard with her behaviour. There is a line in the sand and this woman pole vaulted it. We all can respect political beliefs different to ours and that is the basis of any free country. You Kathy, are a moron. What will be added here (as this is an Australian based website) is that the good citizens of the United States being one of our dearest friends will not be tarnished by reputation because of Kathy.

US comedian Kathy Griffin has lashed out at Samantha Armytage, telling the Sunrise host she was “full of crap” for attempting to justify the backlash to Griffin’s controversial Donald Trump beheading stunt.
The comedian, who announced an upcoming tour of Australia on Monday, was widely condemned in June after appearing in a video clutching a fake, bloodied, severed head of Trump.
The public fallout saw the comedian being fired from a regular gig on CNN, losing sponsorship deals, and even being personally called out by Trump, who said the stunt had traumatised his son Barron.
Armytage appeared to play devil’s advocate during the interview on Sunrise on Tuesday morning, saying the fact that Griffin’s liberal friends – including Chelsea Clinton and Will & Grace star Debra Messing – had slammed the stunt was proof she’d gone too far.
“Stop acting like my little picture is more important than talking about the actual atrocities that the president of the United States is committing,” she added.
“I didn’t just lose one night on CNN. My entire tour was cancelled within 24 hours because every single theatre got all these death threats,” she said.
“These Trump fans, they’re hardcore.
“I’m on a mission to tell people that if it could happen to me, as obnoxious and bigmouthed as I am, it can happen to you.”
The comedian was on the breakfast show promoting her Australian tour, which starts at the Sydney Opera House on October 21.
The fiery interview had started off awkwardly, when Griffin mocked Sunrise‘s decision to show a pixelated version of the fake head.
“I love that the mask is pixelated as if it is an actual head!” Griffin joked.
“It was a mask with ketchup. I think Australians can handle that.”
Sorry Kathy, I think you missed the point but yes we can handle Ketchup – on pies.
